Achievements
The total, which is official
The Steam store page lists 59 Steam achievements and links a global achievement viewer. That number is first-party and current at the release window.
The complete list, which is not readable to us
A full checklist — every achievement with its unlock condition — is the obvious thing to publish on a page like this, and this site cannot publish one honestly. The community achievement database for the game returned no readable content when this batch tried to read it, and no first-party page enumerates the achievements with conditions. So instead of a partial list dressed up as a complete one, here is what is actually documented.
Three achievements with known friction
Community and dev-verified, Early Access era
| Achievement | Requirement | What is actually difficult |
|---|---|---|
| Heartbreaker | Involves a companion attached to a hero | The difficulty is not the objective but the mechanism: at the time players reported this, there was no way to swap a companion. A developer's own answer was that the only route is to destroy the haven, and a player in the same thread established that the haven is destroyed automatically when you dismiss the hero. Both statements are from the Early Access period. |
| Call Me Maybe | Finish a game as Tahuks with only Called population in your empire | Reported at 0.0% global unlock at the time. Keeping a city from growing ordinary population is the whole problem; players discussed using the Festival ability to clear population, the first top-bar ability to generate a Called population, and keeping Food as low as possible afterwards. |
| Heart of Glass | Finish a game as Tahuks with every one of your territories turned to glass | Reported at 0.0% global unlock at the time, and reported as behaving inconsistently: one player finished the game repeatedly from a reload and never triggered it, then triggered it — together with Call Me Maybe — on a later attempt with nothing apparently changed. |
The pattern worth taking away
Two of those three are faction-locked, end-of-game conditions, which is a class of achievement you cannot clean up after the fact: by the time you can check whether it would have fired, the campaign is over. If you are hunting completions, read the faction-locked ones before you start the campaign, because the counter-play is in the opening, not the ending.
Platform differences
Unconfirmed- Steam: 59 achievements, confirmed by the store page.
- Xbox: the Xbox store page lists Xbox achievements as a capability but does not state a count. A separate count figure that circulates for the Windows and Xbox release was carried by this batch's planning material and could not be verified against a readable first-party page in this stage, so it is not printed here as fact.
- PlayStation: no PS trophy list was found in any source read by this stage, and the PlayStation Store page lists the game's features without a trophy breakdown.
Why this page is short
Because a page that invents the other fifty-six achievements would be worse than useless — it would be confidently wrong in a format that looks authoritative, which is exactly the failure mode this whole site is built against. The count is here, the three documented friction points are here, and the gap is labelled. When a readable list exists, this page grows.
